Konex and the Protection of the Environment

In connection with the 1993 Konex Awards in the area of Science and Technology, the Konex Foundation instituted the Konex Awards to Research on Ecology, and organized a competition throughout the country.

1st Prize

Ecological and molecular studies of the micro-flora at the Riachuelo in order to eventually use them in the purification of contaminated water and industrial sewage.
