November 4, 1997 the Universidad
de Ciencias Empresariales y
Sociales (UCES) organized together
with all nominees (1800) and
jurors (360) at the Konex Foundation
over the term of 18 years (1980-1997)
a ceremony in honour of the
President of the Konex Foundation,
Dr. Luis Ovsejevich, as a tribute
to his activities as founder
of the Konex Awards.
